KEANE: THE GOALS WILL COME

Robbie Keane today insisted it's just a matter of time before he starts banging in the goals for Liverpool.
The Republic of Ireland striker heads into this afternoon's clash at Villa Park still looking to open his goalscoring account for the Reds, but he insists that statistic is not weighing heavily on his mind.

"If I was younger and a bit more naive, maybe I would start to worry about it," he said.

"But when you're 28 and you've got experience with many clubs, you're not worried one bit as long as the team is winning.

"That is the main thing. It took me five games to score my first goal for Tottenham. The more people talk about it, the more it becomes a big issue.

"But I'm not worried and if I'm not worried, you shouldn't worry. When you've been there and done that, you settle in a lot quicker than you would if you were younger."
